This villa is perched on a small hill overlooking Selong Belanak beach Lombok. The hill was once a river bed which is evidenced by the large, smooth river rocks that make up much of the hills composition. The beach is quite protected and as such has fine, white sand and is safe for swimming for all ages. This very old extinct volcanic area has a dramatic landscape with a mixture of rolling hills and flatland where rice paddies and soya bean crops grow in the wet season to feed the local people.

The villa was constructed in 2009 by a team skilled carpenters from Jepara in central Java and is composed almost entirely of Merbau wood which was sourced from Kalimantan. The villa is positioned to capture the north easterly breeze in the dry season and to have a panoramic view over the bay with its distant headlands, the full stretch of Selong Belanak beach Lombok and over the rice paddies and lush green hills, giving a balanced picturesque view.

The main house has a bedroom and en suite bathroom and an open plan living/dining/kitchen area. The open ceiling has a peaked, high point which features the Merbau beams and contemporary lighting. The guest house has a large bed downstairs and two single beds upstairs, a kitchenette and bathroom. Both buildings have wrap around balconies in a style reminiscent of the Australian queen slander design and are joined by an outdoor living and dining area and the infinity edge pool which is designed to be able to rest your elbows on the edge and take in the view with a well earned refreshment.
The bay is excellent for beach, rock and boat fishing. An off shore reef close to the eastern side of the bay is good for trawling for Spanish Mackerel, Snapper and Giant Trevaly.
This villa has round the clock security, dining facilities close by and is conveniently located only 25 minutes drive from Lombok International Airport.
